Barcamp Around the Region

Seem like the Barcamp Movement is picking up.
Singapore had their Barcamp II recently which focused on Mobile and Maps.
And the guys from Thailand had two Barcamp in June which one of them was a Twitter Day.
Our friend Tharum Bun in Phnom Penh is organizing their inaugural Barcamp Phnom Penh this 21th September.
Also there are a handful happening around India.
Plus the one in Hong Kong on on the 9th of September.
The great thing about BarCamp is people tend to go from one Barcamp around their region to make new friends and this is the case of BarCamp Malaysia.
As I am writing this, a few of our friends have express interested to join the Fun in BarCamp Malaysia.
Even we got Jeori from Belgium to run the Drupal Track.

Sawadee Kha! I’m about to go to Bangkok and I’m quite excited about it. Already booked the flight to Bangkok and from there I’ll go travel around Samui and of course stay a couple of days in Bangkok, I saw your great blog on Yahoo and it seems that you know a lot about Bangkok. Would you kindly give me a hint where to stay in Bangkok City? I’ve heard there are a couple of good resorts in the main town and in the northwest… Thank you in advance!
