BarCamp is an Unconference

I know most of you are new to BarCamp and here I am introducing a new term.

According to Wikipedia

Unconference

An unconference is a facilitated, face-to-face, and participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose. The term “unconference” has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid one or more aspects of a conventional conference, such as high fees and sponsored presentations.

Some rules of Unconference are

- Everyone is a participant.

Everyone attending contribute in one way or another.

- Law of two feet.

If you are neither learning nor contributing to an unconference’s discussion, use your Two Feet to move respectfully to another discussion where you can make a difference.

For more info on Law of Two Feet visit http://www.e27.sg/e27-guide/law-of-two-feet/

So now you are briefed. See you tomorrow morning at Barcamp Malaysia!
